The First Communion of baptized children is usually celebrated around the age of seven or eight, and it is preceded by their first confession. It is also a special time to instill in them the love for the Eucharist. During the Holy Mass, the priest consecrates bread and wine, the Eucharistic elements that are transubstantiated into Christ's Body and Blood.

St. Peter the Apostle School opened the school year 2022-2023 with the Mass of the Holy Spirit presided by the school director, Fr. Emilio A. Ascaño, LRMS. Attendees were SPAS employees, students, alumni and SPAS Parents’ Auxiliary.

It is  one great practice of the school to start the year gathering together as one big family  to thank God for the gifts of creation and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit for the whole school year, and at this time,  to keep the fire of faith burning despite the pandemic and education in the “new normal”.

Welcome back to school, Peterians!

After two years of having online classes at home, teachers are ready, parents are excited, and pupils are inspired to go back to school!  The fear of the pandemic is still there, but going back to school to learn with other pupils, wearing  new  uniform and shoes, having new bags and other school materials with teachers in front of the classroom, and most of all, with hearts full of hope and courage to face the unknown dominates the said fear.

Everyone was glad and excited to be back at school again. In-class learning is back, and face-to-face interactions with classmates, friends, teachers and other school employees can now happen; however, everyone understands that health and safety protocols must be observed.
