SPAS Alumni Inspire Students in the Program "Elevate Your Future: Exploring Career Possibilities Together" 

In a dynamic showcase of wisdom and inspiration, St. Peter the Apostle School (SPAS), together with the SPAS Alumni Association, hosted its annual alumni career talk on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. The event, held under the theme "Elevate Your Future: Exploring Career Possibilities Together," brought together students from Grades 9 to 12 for an insightful exploration of diverse career paths. By connecting current students with accomplished alumni, SPAS continues to foster a sense of community, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world applications. This not only served as a platform for career exploration but also as a celebration of the shared spirit that defines the “Peterian” experience.The Career Preferences Survey which was conducted in November 2023 for Grades 9 to 12 students shaped the curated line-up of SPAS alumni speakers, ensuring alignment with the aspirations and interests of the students. Dr. Giovanni Tyrone Yu, a distinguished figure in the field of Medicine, provided valuable insights into the healthcare industry. Mr. Dennis Co, CPA, shared his expertise in accountancy, shedding light on the intricacies of the financial world. Ar. Gianfranco Leh, an accomplished architect, offered a glimpse into the dynamic field of architecture. Dr. Jeanne Marie Go Yuching, a luminary in dentistry, shared her journey and expertise in dental health and oral surgery. Lastly, Mr. Arthur Alain Tiu, a trailblazer in Multimedia Arts, enlightened students on the creative and ever-evolving multimedia landscape. In general, the event's multifaceted objectives were carefully designed to serve as a holistic approach toward students' career development. Beyond these professional exposures, the event also aimed to empower students with the necessary resources and strategies for effective career planning, recognizing the pivotal role of informed decision-making in shaping their futures.As the echoes of success from SPAS alumni speakers lingered in the Hall of Hope, it was evident that the program had not only provided valuable insights into career possibilities but had also ignited a collective aspiration among the students to reach greater heights in their educational and professional journeys, supporting the notion that “Peterians Excel in Greater Things!”
