St. Peter the Apostle School Conducts Fire and Earthquake Drill

Since nobody can predict when natural disasters will happen, it is a must that everyone is prepared for emergencies that may arise. In line with this, St. Peter the Apostle School conducted a fire and earthquake drill last April 24, 2023.

Prior to the drill, all Peterian students were oriented by their advisers with what they should do when there is fire or earthquake happening in school. Their discussion was tested into practice as the bell rang to signal that there was an earthquake. Students immediately did the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” and went their way out through their assigned exit ways. Our alumnus and St. Peter the Apostle School Parents’ Auxiliary (SPASPA) Batch Representative who himself is a volunteer firefighter together with his team and some SPASPA officers was also present to assist in the drill. At the evacuation site, a headcount per class was checked by each teacher and was reported to the assigned evacuation committee.

Through this activity, Peterians are now ready to face emergencies as all the members have fully cooperated in the fire and earthquake drill.
