Parents’ Orientation 2025: Moving Forward with Gratitude and Hope

As the orientation began with a Holy Mass presided by our School Director, Rev. Fr. Emilio A. Ascaño, LRMS, PhD 柯利民總校長, embracing the spirit of thanksgiving, SPAS@50: Looking Back with Gratitude and Living Up to the Peterian Legacy came to life. In celebration of our golden year, St. Peter the Apostle School held its Parents’ Orientation last June 14, 2025. This year also coincides with the Jubilee of Hope, making the gathering even more meaningful as the Peterian community reflects on the blessings of the past and looks forward with renewed faith and purpose.

The orientation welcomed parents into a spirit of collaboration and shared responsibility. Our School Principal, Mr. Louie Francis G. Uy, LPT, MAEd 黃俊發校長, together with the Human Resource Officer, Chinese Curriculum and Affairs Head, and Prefect of Students, discussed key school guidelines, Chinese curriculum, and the importance of discipline. Moreover, SPAS Parents’ Auxiliary highlighted the active role of the parents’ association in the school community. Classroom orientation followed with class advisers discussing other batch concerns.

More than an orientation, the event became a reminder that SPAS is not only an institution of academic learning but also a beacon of hope where families, educators, and students journey together in faith. As SPAS celebrates 50 years of mission and service, the Jubilee spirit invites everyone to walk forward with hope, strengthened by gratitude and the enduring Peterian values.
