Solemn Investiture of Knights of the Altar and Induction of Student Leaders

October 4, 2024 during the First Friday Mass and Feast of St. Francis of Assisi  was the solemn investiture of the knights of the altar and the induction of student leaders. 

These are significant moments of grace and responsibility, where young Peterians  formally commit themselves to serving God and their community. The rite is within the Mass in order to highlight the sacred nature of their duty—whether assisting the priest at the altar or leading their peers, they embody a spirit of dedication, sacrifice, and service.

By answering to this sacred duty, they follow Christ’s example of humble service and self-giving leadership. We commend them for their courage and willingness to step forward, embracing these responsibilities with hearts open to God’s guidance.

Their commitment to serve enriches our community, as they serve not only with their hands but with their hearts, becoming true instruments of God’s grace in the lives of others.
