Welcome to St. Peter the Apostle School!
On February 15, 2025, the SPAS Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, members of the Student Response Team (SRT), and the Saliksikin at Aralin ang Kasaysayan ng Lipunan (SAKALIP) Club visited the National Museum of Natural History and the National Museum of Anthropology. The trip provided an exciting opportunity to learn about nature, history, and the rich culture of the country. As organization and club members, they were eager to explore the exhibits, discover new insights, and gain valuable knowledge.
At the Natural History of Museum, various displays of plants, animals, and fossils were showcased. The most fascinating exhibit was the skeleton of the Philippine Eagle, the country’s national bird. Information about different ecosystems and ways to protect the environment were also presented, highlighting the importance of conservation for those who love outdoor adventures.
At the National Museum of Anthropology, they explored artifacts from ancient civilizations and indigenous groups in the Philippines. Traditional clothing, tools, and musical instruments used by ancestors were displayed. The visit fostered a deeper appreciation for heritage and emphasized the importance of preserving culture.
The tour was both educational and exciting, providing a deeper appreciation of the country’s natural and cultural heritage. It emphasized the importance of preserving the environment and valuing ancestral traditions. Peterians were inspired to be more responsible in protecting nature and promoting our history to others.
