SPAS Year - End Rites 2023

St. Peter the Apostle School held its three-day year-end rites last May 25 to 27, 2023 with the theme, “Peterians: Journeying Towards Education Transformation”. The event was composed of the graduation, moving up, and recognition ceremonies and these were attended by the SPAS administrators, faculty, staff, representatives from SPAS Alumni Association and Parents’ Auxiliary, graduates, completers, and awardees together with their parents and guardians.

The graduation ceremony for both Grades 6 and 12 happened on the first day at St. Peter the Apostle Parish Church. A Baccalaureate Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Emilio A. Ascaño, LRMS  was held first in gratitude to God’s guidance for the whole academic year and the achievements of the graduates. The graduation rites followed after the Mass where the graduates received their diplomas and medals. Representatives from Grades 6 and 12 gave their words of gratitude in English and Chinese to show appreciation to those who helped them achieve another milestone.

On the second day, the moving up ceremonies for both kindergarten and junior high school completers were held. Part of the program was the blessing of certificates and medals which was then followed by the awarding ceremony. Representatives from each batch also gave their words of gratitude in English and Chinese to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who guided and supported them throughout the school year.

The last day of the year-end rites was spent for recognition ceremonies of the elementary and the high school departments. The medals of the awardees were also blessed as a symbol of inspiration to achieve excellence in the service of others for the greater glory of God. Afterward, the awardees received their medals as fruits of their hard work and perseverance.

The Year-End Rites for academic year 2022-2023 was indeed a solemn and successful occasion as everyone participated in the three events cooperatively. Congratulations to all Peterians who excelled in greater things this school year!
