In a heartwarming display of academic preparation and parental involvement, St. Peter the Apostle School (SPAS) played host to a remarkable program on January 19, 2024, centered around the theme "Rising Stars, Bright Futures: Building Bridges to Grade School Adventure." A burst of excitement filled the SPAS Hall of Hope as kinder pupils and their parents embarked on a joyful adventure where learning meets enthusiasm.
The primary objectives of this event were multi-faceted, aiming to foster a supportive environment conducive to a seamless transition to the Grade 1 level for kindergarten pupils, enhance their academic readiness, and provide parents/guardians with valuable insights into the support and opportunities available for their children's holistic development within the SPAS community. The day's program was thoughtfully designed to engage everyone in an informative and enjoyable manner through interactive discussions on English, Science, and Math subjects. It also featured a delightful Chinese intermission number from selected Grade 1 students.
By building bridges between the kindergarten and grade school experiences, SPAS ensures that its students embark on their academic journey with confidence and passion, setting the stage for a bright and promising future.
