Welcome to St. Peter the Apostle School!
It was with blessed joy that St. Peter the Apostle School community welcomed the Centenary Pilgrim Image and Relics of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus on June 19–20, 2025. The visit was part of a national pilgrimage commemorating the 100th anniversary of her canonization, organized by the Fraternity of Priests and the Confraternity of the Brown Scapular of the Order of Discalced Carmelites-Philippine Province.
Students and personnel took part in the scheduled veneration of the relics, expressing deep reverence and love for the beloved Saint. During the visit, Brother Luke Traballo, OP, delivered a catechism on the life and spirituality of St. Thérèse, focusing on her “little way” of doing small things with great love—a path of holiness accessible to all.
The two-day event concluded with the farewell Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Emilio Ascaño, LRMS, Ph.D., our School Director, followed by the solemn turnover of the relics to St. Peter the Apostle Parish.
The presence of the relics brought a renewed sense of faith and inspiration to the Peterian community, reminding everyone that even the simplest acts, when done with love, can lead us to God.
