Welcome to St. Peter the Apostle School!
Peterians celebrate Mathematics, Science, and ICT Month 2025
In celebration of Mathematics, Science, and ICT Month, the school held a special event on February 20-21, 2025 with the theme, “INNOVATE WITH A HEART FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”. This two-day event was filled with engaging and challenging activities that showcased and enhanced the Peterians’ 21st-century skills. The event aimed to highlight the role of mathematics, science, and ICT in fostering innovation while emphasizing environmental responsibility in shaping a brighter and more sustainable future for all.
The first day of the event kicked off with a series of exciting activities. Grades 1-3 participated in a fun and educational quiz bee at the Hall of Hope while grade 7 students took part in a digital logo-making contest. Students from grades 8, 9, and 12 created eco-bags using reusable materials. Meanwhile, grade 10 students engaged in a bridge-building competition, and grade 11 students conducted a disaster readiness seminar for grade 6 students.
The second day was dedicated to grades 4-6, where they dressed up as scientists, mathematicians, and technologists, celebrating their contributions to society. Simultaneously, high school students participated in SCIMATHICT games, engaging in interactive challenges and applying concepts from mathematics, science, and ICT.
Beyond the excitement and challenges, the celebration served as a reminder for everyone to act wisely and make a meaningful difference. Just like the scientists, mathematicians, and technologists of the past, we, too, can develop innovative solutions driven by passion, creativity, and a commitment to sustainability. Together, let’s build a better world for future generations.
