St. Peter the Apostle School held its UN celebration last October 10 with the theme “Celebrating Culture Through Dances”. The dances performed at United Nations programs are far more than entertainment. They are cultural expressions that carry the legacy, struggles, and triumphs of people across the world. As globalization tends to blur national identities, activities like the United Nations month play a critical role in safeguarding and celebrating these unique cultural treasures.
