SPAS Scouts Strengthen Leadership Skills Through Leader Training Course
Guided by the spirit of scouting, the Boy Scouts and Senior Scouts of St. Peter the Apostle School (SPAS) participated in the Patrol Leader Training Course (PLTC) and Crew Leader Training Course (CLTC), held from October 16–18, 2026, at Rafael Palma Elementary School.
The three-day training aimed to develop the scouts’ leadership abilities, teamwork, and practical scouting knowledge. During the training, the SPAS delegates gained valuable insights into troop organization, pioneering, outdoor safety, basic first aid, and campsite management.
The scouts also engaged in team-building activities and campfire sessions that reinforced the values embodied in the Scout Oath and Law, fostering camaraderie, discipline, and a stronger sense of responsibility.
By completing the course, the young scouts returned to SPAS with new skills and confidence, ready to lead their patrols and support their school troop in upcoming activities.Their participation reflects SPAS’s continued commitment to nurturing responsible, capable, and service-oriented young leaders.
