PeTEACHERians’ Day: A Tribute to the Heroes of Every Peterian Generation
As part of St. Peter the Apostle School’s 50th Founding Anniversary, the SPAS community celebrated PeTEACHERians’ Day last October 1, 2026, honoring the school administrators, teachers, and non-teaching personnel who have dedicated their lives to educating, inspiring, and shaping generations of Peterians.
In line with the theme “Looking Back with Gratitude and Living Up to the Peterian Legacy,” the Peterian Choir and Animators led the doxology. The celebration featured heartfelt performances as tokens of appreciation. The jolly performance of Junior Performing Arts Club, the sweet voices of Nicole Tan and Andre Habab, an amazing Chinese dance performance, a touching video greeting from Peterians, and an inspiring performance by the Performing Arts group filled the gymnasium with joy and gratitude. The Grade 12 students also presented a special tribute to their mentors. A memorable part of the celebration was the thanksgiving message of Mrs. Janet Canonizado, our Mathematics Coordinator, who proudly celebrates 35 years of dedicated service to SPAS.
More than a celebration within the four corners of the gymnasium, PeTEACHERians’ Day honored educators as heroes of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. For fifty years, SPAS educators have helped shape the Peterian community through wisdom, kindness, courage, and faith.
As SPAS looks back with gratitude and moves forward with hope, the celebration reminds us that behind every Peterian is a mentor who believed, guided, and inspired.
To all SPAS educators, thank you for being part of the Peterian legacy and for inspiring generations to excel in greater things.
