On September 29, 2023, the Student Coordinating Body (SCB) prepared a program for the teachers of St. Peter the Apostle School with the theme, "PeTEACHERians: Mentors of the Future".
With the help of the Student Response Team (SRT), the students gathered at the school grounds in the morning to greet the arriving administrators, teachers, and staff. Student-teachers also assisted in gathering the students at the gymnasium to attend the program.
The celebration started with the Mass presided by our Parochial Vicar, Rev. Fr. Roberto Fabillio, LRMS and concelebrated by our School Director, Rev. Fr. Emilio A. Ascaño, LRMS. Following this, the Teachers' Day program commenced with a warm welcome address from the SCB President, Eunice Liezel H. Sison. The program continued with a variety of engaging performances, including Chinese yoyo displays, songs, and dances presented by different classes. The SCB also prepared a tribute video for the administrators, teachers, and staff who touched their lives. The Senior High School students also surprised the community with their finale number. Meanwhile, all the SPAS employees were given a simple token from the SPAS Alumni Association. The program ended with a word of thanks from our 30-year service awardee, Mrs. Wendilina O. Del Rosario.
In conclusion, it was a teachers’ day well spent. The whole Peterian community was able to express its gratitude and appreciation for all the efforts and sacrifices of our administrators, teachers, and non-teaching staff.
