Welcome to St. Peter the Apostle School!
Parenting is a beautiful balance of love, patience, and learning. In the spirit of nurturing these values, St. Peter the Apostle School (SPAS), in collaboration with the SPAS Parents’ Auxiliary (SPASPA), held an inspiring parenting talk on November 21, 2025, titled “Mindful Parenting: Managing Behavior Through Communication and Care.”
The session brought parents and guardians together for a morning of meaningful reflection and learning. With the guidance of our resource speaker, Mrs. Rolinda Josine M. Agustin-Mercado, RPm, CHRA, participants explored practical and heartfelt strategies for guiding children with empathy. Through relatable stories and engaging discussions, attendees gained a deeper understanding of how to manage challenging behaviors with compassion by prioritizing connection, emotional growth, and mindful communication rather than control. The talk further highlighted how mindful parenting not only strengthens family relationships but also nurtures the emotional well-being of both children and parents.
SPAS extends its heartfelt gratitude to all parents and guardians who joined this enriching event. Together, we continue to build a community committed to raising children who are emotionally resilient, compassionate, and grounded in faith and love.
