SPAS Participates in NDRRMC’s Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

In participation of the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill last 11th of March 2021, the SPAS administration, faculty, and staff were prepared to duck, cover, and hold amidst circumstances. When the bell rang at 2:00 PM, employees reported present in school followed the guidelines of DUCK, COVER, and HOLD and went out to the open grounds with calm easiness. The medical action team were prepared to administer first aid whereas the administrative team made sure that practiced guidelines for safety were followed. Since the pandemic, these protocols now include observing social distancing, wearing face masks and shields, and using alcohol. COVID-19 is still a pervasive malignant disaster, and an earthquake could rapidly generate new cases. Thus, an earthquake drill during this time is a precautionary measure. SPAS believes that we do not have to duck, cover, and hold all our anxieties in the disasters that may happen, but to face it on open grounds with preparedness. In participation of the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill last 11th of March 2021, the SPAS administration, faculty, and staff were prepared to duck, cover, and hold amidst circumstances.
