Last December 12, 2019, SPAS held its first ever Eco-Fashion show entitled “Maximize, Engage, Sustain: Shaping the Future of Our Planet as Responsible Stewards of Our Common Home” wherein selected students donned different outfits made from recycled materials. The fashion show also doubled as a pageant for representatives from Grades 4 to 12 wherein representatives got to share their thoughts about caring for our environment during the Question and Answer portion of the pageant. Headed by the subject area coordinators, the Eco-Fashion show was held to empower the Peterian community to embody the essence of Pope Francis’ Encyclical “Laudato Si” about caring for our common home through sustainable ways.
