Last October 25 to 30, the personnel of St. Peter the Apostle School went to Taiwan as part of their employee development program. Administrators, teachers, office staff, and maintenance personnel visited Heng Yee Catholic School where they got a glimpse of the school’s robotics program among other things. They also went to various tourist destinations in Taiwan such as the Wu Fong Ci pilgrimage site, Nantou Sun Link Sea Forest Park, Taipei Zoo, Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Xi Men Ding Night Market, Shi Lin Night Market, Bali Bay Area, Bei Tou Thermal Valley, Bei Tou Public Library, Nantou Aboriginal Village and Dan Shui Old Street. The trip was organized to build better camaraderie among the school’s personnel as well as expose them to Taiwan’s history and culture. After 6 days of fun and relaxation in Taiwan, the SPAS personnel were able to strengthen relations with each other as the second half of the school year commenced.
