A Fun Family Day in the

ECE Department

“When in doubt, choose the kids. There will be plenty of time later to choose work.” – Anna Quindlen And that is what most ECE parents chose to do last February 16, 2024, Friday, to spend precious time with their little kids during the “ECE Family Fun Day 2024”. This is in celebration of our school’s 48th Foundation Anniversary, with the theme “Moving Forward Together with Christ in Mission”. The fun started with a parade from the ECE building to the main campus. The children, accompanied by their parents and guardians, were warmly welcomed by selected elementary and high school students as they made their way to the gymnasium where the event was to be held. The event started with a prayer and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. For some needed early morning energy, Ms. Clarisse Tepora, an ECE teacher, led everyone in a community dance which was followed by the welcome remarks of the school principal, Mr. Louie Francis G. Uy who formally started the program. The ECE teachers prepared several games for the parents and kids to enjoy and bond together as a family. A face painting kiosk was also available for the kids to have their favorite characters painted on their faces or arms. In addition, a photobooth was readied to take family pictures as a souvenir from this memorable event. It was truly an opportunity for teachers to connect with the parents and students outside the classroom and for parents to play and have fun with their kids. Moreover, it is for the students to enjoy some quality time with their parents which is the primary objective of having this Family Day!
